I remember...
... all the expressions of my babies face. The big cheeks, and the eye lashes, the soft hair and the tiny warm breath I had to get so close with my face to feel it. There were her fingers so small not even as big as my thumb nail but still with a powerful grip. And the round pear shaped belly even the little wrinkled skin of her legs the day she was born. I remember her crying to be fed, the kicking legs and afterwards the soft relaxed angelic face of innocence. Then at 5 weeks her eyes clearly seeing the world and her head starting to move with purpose. I remember her first smile around this time that lasted a second.
